My philosophy is that every client is unique and, therefore, deserves a tailored approach that fits their specific needs. I am committed to understanding you and your experiences at a deep level, allowing for a therapeutic process that feels authentic and effective. I believe in the power of connection and the human capacity for change. It's my privilege to walk with you through your unique journey, helping you to uncover your strengths, develop new coping strategies, and navigate life's challenges.
What Chas Can Help You With
As a Certified Trauma Counselor, I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced circumstances in life that have impacted them in ways that far exceed the time and space where those things happened. So often trauma is thought of as either a solitary event where severe physical harm was done, or perhaps the word "trauma" has been overused and has become synonymous with pop culture rather than the damaging circumstances that shape brain chemistry and rewire nervous systems.

How Chas Practices
Through the use of Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing, we can explore the life experiences that have shaped the communication, perspectives, behaviors and values that make up, you. Using tools that offer support and insight into the 'why' provides insightful internal resources that empower us to live a life that aligns with our true Self.
For those who have trauma or stories that feel 'stuck' without freedom of the pain and paralyzing effects, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Neurofeedback to help clients unlock their innate capacity for self-healing and growth.

For couples, I am trained in the Gottman Method, a scientifically grounded and effective approach, to improve relationship satisfaction, deepen understanding and connection, and manage conflicts productively. My goal is to facilitate a deeper understanding between partners, promoting empathy, compassion, and unified growth.
